West, West, West Sussex
If this carries on we might need a national day of mourning tomorrow as everybody's second team is taking a sound thrashing.

Amazing that the preamble to this game followed the usual 'aren't they always just great' narrative about Leeds, with hardly a mention of the challenge of Phillips's absence. You would have thought that some of these paid pundits would have noticed that Bielsa's side without Phillips are like a speedboat missing an outdoor motor.

Bielsa get's such an easy ride.
Obviously the focus will be on Meslier but it just beggars belief this whole Bielsa myth.
He knows Phillips will get injured and suspended and doesn't find cover for him. Takes the player who has recently been their best CB and plays him in midfield, basically restructuring the entire backline. A back line with a winger at LB, a CM at RB, RB at CB and a desperately inconsistent GK.
They spent almost 100 million.
If it was a less fashionable coach (or even a less experienced one) the narrative would be entirely different. "Odd decisions. Found out. Out of his depth" etc.
They created NOTHING against us. Nothing today.

It's like watching a kids team.

(Arsenal have played well today though)
