Poyet is not a man that hangs around anywhere very long - a few months at Swindon, a year at Leeds, a year at Spurs, a year out.

And as for that Argus interview, if you take it literally then it contains very little to reassure fans that he'll stay and quite a bit that could be taken as a sign he's leaving his options open.

"My position is I would like to stay here, I won't move if the chairman lets me stay."

Seems pretty unequivocal. I was a little bit worried when I heard this, because of the reasons you say and his affiliation with Zaragoza, but I don't think he's dishonest. I am reassured.
