strikes me as a very strange comment by gus 'we liked him but he was expensive' surely he must have known his indicative value before travelling? .... Let's be realistic, if we are going to have any chance of getting out of this division this season then we are going to have to shell out 500k + on a striker. Cheque book time please Mr Bloom....

I think that we need a left back as back up to Painter as I do not think Smith is anywhere near ready yet and EL Abd cannot cover every position in the back four.

Who is the striker that is playing in Spanish Div 2 who we were rumoured to be after in the summer and also Man Utd and Zaragossa were mentioned. Top scorer in Spanish Div 2, South American U21 international I think if memory serves me well.

Jorge Molina was top scorer last season but, looks has he has either joined Peruvian side Lima, or Real Betis for 1.6million euros (Betis is acording to Wikipedia)
