Part of a great movie that did the rounds with Quadrophenia first time round. The second I heard the opening riff, I knew the first wave of punk had just been replaced with a far more aggressive sound..

Not really ,Eddie Tenpole used those two songs to promote his own band ,I remember going to see Tenpole Tudor live at Jenkinsons ,The only songs people were interested in were the two songs from The Swindle album.He also appears in the Punk Cant Take it movie about the UK Subs .He was a bit of a punk hanger on if you ask me.

This was a great, great track for an American band... loved it.
Saw them I think in 1978 or 79 for the first time ever, Top Rank maybe? Last time seen March 30 this year at the Forum Kentish Town, Jake's a big boy now but still great to watch.

Don't get me wrong I shall be there, but with League only charging a tenner and I think it's only a tenner for the Subs , Sham are over cooking it a bit.

Ironically New Rose is my ringtone . Most embarrassingly met Captain Sensible in Primark and my bloody phone rang.I think he thought I was his stalker.
