See plenty of positives. Yeah we lost, yeah to Palace, yes we deserved to. However we can start afresh in October on Saturday. Feet firmly back on the ground. Yes it hurts, actually think I'm more numb than hurting, but we still in 5th and 3 points on Saturday will keep us there when the magic "10 games played" tables are out

Three points against Ipswich? The same Ipswich who just won at Upton Park?

The side really has no balance. It was obvious when the window shut that we were lacking another player who is strong in midfield and a striker who CMS can play off. If we had reverted to 4-4-2 at half time with someone who could mix it (even Navarro FFS) alongside Bridcutt we would have won that game, but Barnes spent all the game in our half. Very poor tactically tonight, very poor indeed and as for the full backs...
I *definitely* saw the same game as you tonight as I couldn't agree more.

WTF is the problem with Calde? He pissed me off when the Leeds fella ghosted past him as if he wasn't there for their first on Friday, but surely he hasn't been dropped after that ONE game?

My pie was nice.

Oh and Bridders did ok. Poor chap can't run the midfield on his own though.

New set of Mens toilets in the North Stand, commandeered from one of the three barely used sets of Womens toilets. That's a positive. As was the chucking out at half time of the shitferbrains who promptly decided to have a smoke in them

Tho the above is slightly negated by my box-ticked chicken pie actually turned out to be some kind of bland bright orange veggie shit. Couldn't be arsed to tackle the queue to take it back for a proper pie. Gotta ask tho, how exactly does that veggie option manage to swerve every tasty species of vegetable available on planet earth?

Tarrico starting with Vincelot on the bench? Crazy.
No Navarro on the bench? Crazy.
Barnes playing so deep? Crazy.

Positives?

avoided the brick that was flying at my head in the train queue...

our Ultras were taught how to sing the St Pauli song...

but biggest positive is that that game is out of the way, its overshadowed everything for a while now, including us making pacts with the devil to lose the Liverpool and Leeds games, and we can now move on
