Surely natures naz.. sorry farmers should first be looking at effective pens to keep the chicken, lambs etc in, that the foxes cannot get out and then look at how to control the pests in an effective manner. At the end of the day the agricultural community is happy to benefit from Government and EU initatives when it suits them, but when there is something that the landed gentry do not like they are up in arms and incite riots in London and get the serfs to try and storm Parliament. The electorate voted in 1997 for a Government that had Banning Hunting with Hounds in its manifesto, at last the Government has carried out an electoral promise, that the PEOPLE voted for and banned this. Because a minority of aristocrats and landed gentry do not like it, well tough.

No not at all. I was born and raised in Brighton. But now the place is a f***ing toilet full of the scum of the earth.

I choose to live in the country for a better quality of life for me and my family. The people are very nice there and i do not believe that the ban is justified on any ground. It is simply a result of prejudice, ignorance and the desire to gain votes from the swampie element.

As for farmers being against the ban - I live in between three hunts and the farmers around here all ride out on each hunt. Can't speak for the whole country but around here they are opposed to the ban and will continue to hunt.

And there are plenty ways around the ban, we had the superintendent come out here and tell us how we could hunt with dogs legally. He also told us there would be no more police officers than usual (that's none then) policing the hunt here.
