Is this the Tom Hark song?

I'd never heard that tune until I saw it mentioned here on NSC a lot.

Finally after 2 years I found a copy of the original on Limewire and absolutely loved it.

Probably take me another 2 years to get hold of the Albion version.

Now, I expect to stir up a bit of a hornet's nest with this but...

Am I the only one that is actually not bothered about goal music? I couldn't give a monkies if we played something at Falmer after we scored - I am aware that some people absolute hate the idea but I have no feeling either way although I do hate the generic Tom Hark / Chelsea Dagger you hear at most grounds. Millwall play the 'Let em Come' song after goals and I think that works pretty well as it's a song that's theirs. One thing I do find amusing is when the away team is winning 3/4-0 and the home team scores a goal in the 89th minute, cue a mild ironic cheer and thumping dance music coming out of the PA!

Stuff like goal music / mascots / dancing girls I assume is to attract more younger fans to the stadium and if these people are going to be the future fanbase then surely getting more of them in is a good thing? I know that it's not what football used to be and that football is changing (not always in a good way). Truth is you can not please all of the people all of the time and we should be careful that in attracting a new breed of fans we let the old guard slip away.

As for the original question, I voted for 'Spin it' cause as twee as it is, It's nice to have something upbeat after we have just won. One song I'd like to play before the teams come out is the Brighton version of 'put your hands up' by our own Fatboy Slim.

Persoannlly, I think we should play, when we score, to all those happy fans in the away end (and only to the away end so we can't hear it!) ..........
