For Band of Brothers fans, HBO are currently doing an 11 part podcast covering each episode plus a prologue with non other than Tom Hanks. Each episode has an interview with an actor/writer/director etc. Other than Hanks, they have so far had Ron Livingston (Nixon) and the writer and director of ep 2 and next week I see Dale Dye is on which should be good. The presenter has a very annoying style and treats each question like a West End production but other than that it's a really good listen so far. I think Damien Lewis is down for an ep as well.

Thanks for this. I just listened to the first one. It was brilliant. Looking forward to my lunchtime stroll to listen to them next week!

ive gone back to a much-loved fav... for a palace fan.. i tend to kip to Mark Steel's in Town... all 58 episodes available.. often asleep by the end ... but he is v v good

His 'What the f*#@ is going on?' is really funny, obviously you need to lean to the left...

The chats with his son, which I thought were going to be cringeworthy, are very entertaining

I've just binge listened these this week. Really good, apart from slightly sycophantic presenter! Might crack on with re-watching the boxset tonight...

I have listened to episode 8 tonight. Tomorrow during my lunchtime stroll it is prison camp which will be harrowing. The detail of the series has been unreal and some of it has blown my mind.

I am watching the pacific at the moment then will watch band of brothers again. Best thing ever made.

Can I just put on record my dislike for podcasts, mostly since the start of Covid, that are recorded remotely and the audio is just the skype/zoom sound. Often can't listen to them the whole way through.

.

Thought the other day 'I really miss PTI'... then thought 'wonder if there's a PTI podcast'...

There is...Yay
Assuming you mean Wilbon and Kornheiser.

If you go to this season's NFL thread and scroll back a page or two, I posted a link to their 20 year anniversary Storyville.

It's really entertaining and highlights just how they've defined and shaped broadcasting since they started.

Apologies for the indulgence.

I co-host a monthly radio show – I know it's not a podcast but you can listen again on Mixcloud, which is kind of podcasty – on 1BTN with my mate Adam.

Three hours of decent music, us p*ssing about and laughing a lot, loads of technical errors, and appalling puns etc.

For It's Always Sunny fans - the It's Always Sunny podcast. The three lads gather around their mics to, ostensibly, discuss episode by episode, their creative process. It's not really that, but is very entertaining. Their friend-chemistry is undeniable and though they do talk about IASiP bits and pieces, it's also just a funny listen to three pals and their bantz.

I'm only three episodes in, and am enjoying it very very much.

I can't get rid of the images I messed around with so I'm trying again:

One is a joy, the other is an interesting jaunt through the kitsch and questionable history of Siegfried and Roy.
