van Hecke - 6 uncomfortable at times after he slipped, causing the pen
Igor - 8
Pascal Groß - 8.5

Joao Pedro - 6 looked tired but he's entitled to

Ferguson - 6 looking cumbersome atm

Igor and Gross the outstanding performers, 8.5 for both. Hinsh gets an 8 for two game deciding contributions (goal lines clearance and the winner)

Everyone else 6’s and 7’s, not to say they were bad, I thought it was just quite a pragmatic ‘got the job done with lots of players out injured’ type of performance. The type of wins that are the difference between European places and mid table.

Thought Fergie did well holding the ball up back to goal when he came on up against lumpy defenders.
Pen aside JPvH was solid enough. Massively improved player since the season started.
So pleased to see Moder back and looking calm and solid in midfield.

Think it was more to do with De Zerbi tactically outwitting Frank, and as soon as Mbuemo went off they were clueless- he was their primary outlet.

Carlos Baleba had a very good game in defence and not frightened to take players on. He had at least a couple of good runs forward.
He to me looks a very promising prospect (maybe another bargain buy) still not 20 years old !!

Steele - 6 Some poor kicks first half but did come out and claim a cross.
Hinshelwood - 8 Very mature performance and great to seem him score a well taken header.
van Hecke - 7 Unlucky with the penalty which was a bit soft. Otherwise played well.
Igor - 8 I think we will need to play a back 3 as neither him or van Hecke deserve to lose their place.
Groß - 8 Superb as always apart from a rare mistake which almost gave them a goal.
Baleba - 7 Growing into his role. Did well.
Gilmour - 8 Beginning to boss the matches and looks a steal for what he cost us.
Adingra - 6 Disappointing at times. Has a great shot but lost the ball too often.
Buonanotte - 6 He can play but not consistent enough yet.
Mitoma - 8 Back to his best at times. Just needs to get his scoring mojo back.
Joao Pedro - 7 Looks a class act but needs a rest.

Ferguson - 6 Seems to be a bit low recently. Is he not 100% fit ?
Milner - 6 Does what is needed. Great to have that experience on the bench.
Veltman - 7 Mr reliable.
Moder - Great to seem him back and hopefully will get more minutes.
Baker-Boaitey - Good to see another U21 step up and get some PL experience.

Gross 8 What a huge amount of ground he covered. He knows how to find a player in box
Gilmore Does everything quite well Just cant shoot
Baleba 6 Seemed to play last man in defence so often last night Must be on managers instructions. Still remember his first game and charging forward.Hopefully this to come
Buona 5Good chance in best position but needs to contribute more
Mitoma 6 Doulble and treble marked but still the player you want to have ball in box
Andringa 4 There main concern was Mitoma which gave him many one to one chances in box which he wasted. Came alive 10mins before taken off
Pedro 6 Would prefer he spends less time out wide

Just realised no one else was using decimal places - I didn’t initially then realised I had 10 players on 6 or 7 ( apart from Gross) so needed to scale them a bit

Ha yes often people say .5 but never seen someone drill down to 7.4 etc - I like it
