Something you may not be aware of. Seagull shit has 10x the concentration of bacteria compared to human poo.

Seagull shit's also a marker - once they start crapping on your car, they're behaviourally programmed to contiune bombing on the marker until it's a guano-mountain. Definitely worth the effort of cleaning the stuff off to avoid an aerial shite-frenzy.

*AHEM* you're not entitled to 'murder the fuckers' - herring gulls are a protected species, they are also an indigenous bird life that has been here a lot longer than you!

quite agree, but when did you see a herring gull, or a black headed gull rooting round the bins in Churchill square or in your driveway? they tend to live on the river/seashore etc, like a good gull should!

funny, but cruel, and open to abuse by daf nice birds, especially places like West Street! I'm all for a swift end so air pistol and pellet is favoured (on private land obviously, some people get a little uppity if you start waving guns around in public!)

How do you do this?
I tried alka seltza in bread but seemed to do FA. We have a problem with gulls here !

That's one thing I shall miss at Withdean, the seagull bombing raids along the South Stand and the mass feeding frenzy when the rancid remaining food is chucked out by the caterers.

You need to find someone with a Harris Hawk

Borrow a hawk for a week and the whole street will be pigeon free within 2 weeks i reckon
