Peterborough away!

Me and few fellow season ticks holders are contemplating Peterborough away in a few weeks, but can't find a train journey for any less than about £50 each! Any suggestions on cheaper options from Worthing to Peterborough? All suggestions welcomed!

I think if you get a slow train that stops everywhere it'll be much cheaper. A Network Railcard will get you as far as Huntingdon with a third off the fare and a return to Peterborough from there, which is the next stop. It should not be costing you £50! I think somewhere around £30 at the most.

Peterborough is one of my favourite away days along with Wycombe, Exeter and Burton.

It's a splitter. You can get a return from Brighton to Huntingdon for £17 and then a return from Huntingdon to Peterborough for £2.50 if you do a groupsave4. It's the same train so you don't have to change and it's all perfectly within the rules. Total £19.50

bimey just got a nice surprise on mine from here, Cheltenham to Peterborough £23 return,not bad.

I'd wait for some other replys before you buy though, a few on here know their onions with this stuff. I haven't bought those tickets BTW, I got in early to get savers from the Heath
