Just seen on Sky Sports that the manager of Doncaster reckons Peter Taylor is too good to be a manager in the 3rd division. Just made me chuckle. We all know he should have stayed at a big club!!!!!:lolol:

Peter Taylor couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag let alone the 3rd Division. Crap manager, left to rot in Division 3 where he belongs.

At least we knew how to defend under Taylor.

Peter Taylor is a git who only cares about himself. As soon as a better offer comes in, he will leave that club before you can say long ball.

But he'll get Hull promoted first. He is a good manager, even if his tactics were too negative for some here. His skill in the transfer market is somewhat dodgy though.

How many managers wouldn't move on if a better offer came along and why shouldn't they. MA for example, do we slag him off?

MA was a) a good manager, b) made some fantastic signings and c) loved the club and fans.

Peter Taylor any of these? Let me think....

At the foot of the downs
too right Butterball, and we had no right to win Div 2 that season, we played far above our selfs, and that can only be down to Taylor..

You lot are a bunch of muppets :jester:

Taylor has the best record in the history of Brighton & Hove Albion managers.

Played 34
Won 19
Drawn 11
Lost 4
Points 68

What is your problem , he left the club, move on and stop being so bloody childish, your pathetic. I hope very much he wins the Div 3 title with Hull and thank him for leading us to a championship season and division one football.

He won us the 2nd division championship, developed Zamora's talent and had the good grace to leave straight after the season ended giving Knight 3 months to get a replacement in place.

He was a great manager for the Albion in my book and your comments make me very angry

GG He left us in shit creek and his reason for leaving was poor training facilities. He knew this when he took the job on and then pisses off because of our Withdean situation. He's the muppet. How hard have the club been trying for the new stadium? And for how long? no loyalty. Ask Leicester fans.

It's a shame your very angry, I suggest some councilling.

Peter Taylor won us Division 2 with the team that Micky Adams built. It was the same when Taylor took over at Leicester, he did well with the team that Martin O'Neill left, but when he started to make his own changes he left Leicester well and truly f***ed, Akinbiyi for Leicester, and on a smaller scale David Lee for us. His tactics were awful, and his skills in the transfer market absolutely none. He clearly didn't give a f*** about the Albion, just used us to try and get himself a better job, which has left him even worse off in Division 3, and it's serves him f***ing right.

I'm sorry but Peter Taylor is the most over-rated manager there is. And now he's finally found his level down in Division 3.

Peter Taylor inherited a team made by Adams , yes. And what is your point ?.

He took over the team after 12 league games, he had 34 league games left. To just say " he only won the league becuase he inherited Adams team " is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard in my life !.

Do you think he just had to turn up at 2.30 pm on a Saturday and the team would just go and and win without any involvement. He also got Lewis in which clinched us the 2nd div title.

If you are to slag off Taylor at least come up with some justifications to do so. He is probably the only manager in any clubs history to win a league title and then be charachter assassinated for doing so.

I repeat 34 games 4 losses.

What part of this don't you understand ? :jester:
