Help please chaps. Very strong rumours abound that SBFC will annouce him as their new manager tomorrow at a 3pm press conference. He has been at our ground for the past 2 home games including last nights cup replay. Rumours apparently confirm this on the CP board. Anyone else know of any CONCRETE whispers?

It would certainly be a good move for him, if you're previous manager had built a squad worthy of promotion..PT will do it for you then bugger of to a better offer!

Can't see him managing in the conference, but maybe he will, especially if he needs to re-build his career again, Unfortunately, I found He has a very negative approach to winning games, play for nil - nil and try to snatch a goal, not entertaining to watch.

He won't drop to the conference. That would be madness.

Sometimes it seemed that he was playing for a 1-0 lead, but not before the 80th minute, and then defending so deep that a 1-1 draw was favourite.

Great coup and pretty well guaranteed to get promoted, good manager who's record is excellent, despite some of the normal NSC shite about only managing to get other people's teams promoted. Bet their odds on promotion have shortened dramatically?

Not surprised, Stevenage have a good squad and plenty of money for the Conference.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he leaves after taking them up though.

We'd all be heartbroken if our manager could take us up and then leave of course...except I'd settle for that even though I know there is NO CHANCE of it happening though.

I sometimes think Albion fans would have preferred Taylor to fail and then get the sack to keep the (now tarnished) Micky Adams Messiah legend alive, such is the bitterness of some to his leaving us after winning a Championship (by default OBVIOUSLY)
