Some very Bitter people on here when it comes to Taylor.

Class manager for Brighton and the signing of Jnr Lewis was the diference between play offs and Championship.
He said there is not enough of a budget to stay up and he was right, he left early and gave the board ample time to find a replacement but they failed, somehow that is seen as Taylors fault.

I WAS bitter, because I do think he bottled what would be a hard job after an easy one. He must have known what the financial position was; I mean it was hardly a secret was it, given our situation! And I think if we had had Coppell in from the start next season we'd have stayed up; proving him wrong.

I'm not bitter now, but maybe I'm old fashioned - I just think he should have stuck in there and tried to make a go if it.

Spot on. Nice bloke, great manager for us, and conducted himself in a perfectly honourable manner. I'll wish good luck wherever he goes, except when he was at Palace obviously.

Spot on. Not forgetting he only ever signed a contract until the end of that season with us, so he didn't break anything by leaving. For a bloke who only lost about 4 games in charge of us, won us promotion, and then left in a dignified way leaving us with LOADS of time to find a replacement, he does get a hard time from some morons here. For me, he's my second favourite albion manager behind Adams.

So people who have a different opinion are morons? ???

No, of course not. That's not what I said. What I said was people who can dislike a manager who lost only 4 out of about 40 games in charge and won us a championship almost certainly are morons, particularly when the way he left us didn't particularly screw us over either. On record alone, he should be the most loved manager of recent times!
his managerial career is more than the 30 odd games he had with us though

My cat could have managed that squad to victory.
He inherited a winning formula. To be honest we should have won the league that year.

I don't dislike Taylor (not overly pleased that he ditched us cos DK wouldn't give him millions to spend) but he really isn't a very good manager.

He is at or just below his level now.
As long as a club has got a few quid to spend at whatever standard they play at, Taylor will be interested.
Bit of a glory hunter - even if that glory is in the conference.

Who has actually said they dislike him?
