Admitted to the acute cardiac care unit at RSCH. Got my brother bringing me a care bag later. They’re saying it’s a cardiac effusion, and they are concerned about “tamponade”, which isn’t as delicious as it sounds, and I’ll be in for at least a day or two, as surgery is one possible outcome if the consultant thinks it needs intervention.

But when I Google tamponade it says it’s a life-threatening condition.

You've just made me think of olive tapenade which is one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten (I don't like olives).
