So much potential. Split it as half car park and the rest some sort of fan zone. But something that can be used every day as an attraction for tourists and locals alike. If the hotel is a no no, can retail buildings be put there. Start with a pub chain (Toby or similar) as a daily attraction and add other shops along with outside bars, food stalls and stage for match days.
And, of course, toilets.

I think they’re just going to concrete the whole area…but you can’t park there. Just concrete.

We could solve all of the travel woes in one neat solution:

1) Dig down to railway level - Massive sidings for all the new Matchday Specials - also available for away travel

2) On top of that, a multistorey car park

3) On top of that, Zip Wire to Ditchling Beacon, and hangglider landing zone.

Is there enough room there for a small stadium that could maybe Accommodate Women's and U21 football. For example like the stadiums at Bayer Leverkusen and Man City.
This stadium could have an underground car park, likes Monaco's which can accommodate over 1000 cars.

Don't be silly, it's the landing/storage area for the Jetpacks

you would have to leave those docked outside as they are bigger than A4 and much more deadly than a bottle top
