Stop being a ****. I rounded it to the nearest thousand like most. I was there in 99, we took a lot more than 6,000.

You only need to take 3 on this occasion,3 points off Palace.

Thats exactly what I was saying. Sold 6k but took many more who were in the home areas. Same again on Easter Monday?

So Palace vs Saints attendance was given as 18,753 which leaves about 8,000 empty seats yet Palace refused to sell any more tickets to Southampton despite demand. I think Saints got about 5,800 so what difference an extra few thousand would have made I don't know.

At best this means that there were less than 13k Palace at game maybe they thought they would be outnumbered.

I did read on here months ago that Palace count their season ticket holders even if they don't show up. So we assume there was was 13k palace fans there but how many were actually there excluding non attending season ticket holders.

You are spot on Merlot - they count non attending STH as present. Each individual game is difficult to assess but earlier in the season they admitted that about 1,000 - 1,500 don't show per game. Take that off and you have about 11-12k Palace today. Woeful again considering they were all claiming they would turnout in numbers today.:ffsparr:

"Hark now hear the Palace Sing" :lolol:
:lolol: indeed - often and at length. TINPOT doesn't do them justice at the moment.

For the 1st time in donkeys years you've had a better season and better support than Palace a great season for BHA no one can deny that :(

These stats show again who's bigger overall no one can deny that either can they?

BHA History years in top divisions & cup rounds played in etc

How many times have you been higher than us in the stats over almost a hundred years?

One real club in Sussex with a massive catchment yet only a handful of times over the years have you managed a higher average than Palace who have much bigger clubs on the door step.

As I've said fair play for this season we've still got the 3-1 victory in the history books but as for the bigger club consistently you've still got a lot of catching up to do ladies
One good season in decades but you're still :shit:

Year 1 - we had to start somewhere. Maybe in 40 years Palace fans will be able to say they are back on equal terms.
