Oh dear, it was the decision of the Police at Selhurst to restrict numbers, FACT

Not sure it's the same with your club though, I think they might be being petty, unless of course you can evidence that the police have restricted numbers at the Amex.

No pettiness at all and no specific restrictions on your allocation at the AMEX. You will get the maximum League match away allocation - minus perhaps a slightly bigger buffer zone insisted on by the ground safety people - just like any other league team would.

There will be no other spare seats available to give you - all will be sold - although no doubt some of you will be in the 1901 corporate hospitality, winding up those in there.

I imagine if your behaviour is poor though, you potentially could have a reduced allocaction next time.

Our away end can be adjusted to hold 10% of the stadium capacity FACT,Palace have been given 2,500.

The away end also includes a couple of blocks in ESL to comply with the maximum 15% allocation [4,500 (minus segregation area ?)] given to opposition clubs in Cup matches. For league games the away end can be adjusted up to 3,000 (some reports say 3,300) for those BIG CLUBS with a LARGE AWAY FOLLOWING. Palace fans on BBS are under the impression that FL rules state the away allocation has to be 10% but ignore the first sentence of rule 34.2.1 which states a minimum of 2,000 if the stadium capacity is more than 20k as the 10% only applies to under 20k capacity stadia.

Genuine question: if the police didn't restrict the away seats at Selhurst, do you think Palace would have given us many more seats, especially given how many empty ones there were in the Arthur Waite stand next to us?

Unfortunately for Palace fans, there won't be a surplus of seats on 17 March as the game will sell out. However, I do hope that the club give Palace as many seats as we would give to other clubs who'd sell out, and not hold back because its Palace.

Have Palace received their allocation yet?

It's not down to the club. If the police feel that it'll be best to keep fans back for half hour then they shall.

Rumours that Palace will be let out of the ground at the same time after the match are still rumours. Basically only those in authority will know as the strategy is flexible.

@Suspolfootball surely the rumours last nite that palace will be let out same time arent true#sheermadness

Darren Balkham ‏@Suspolfootball
I would say at this stage that they are just rumours

That is correct,we have given them the same allocation as last year and will beef up the seg lines accordingly.

Yep, we've received our allocation. My old man has been to 5 away games so he's got his ticket already. They'll sell out in both ends no question and there'll be a beam back at Selhurst so I don't think there will be too much disappointment should anyone from CPFC not get a ticket.

If the police didn't limit the away capacity at Selhurst, I'd assume you would get around 4000 tickets in the AW with a block of segregation and the rest filled by Palace. Sadly, those days aren't going to be here in the near future!

The good news from a Palace point of view about The Amex selling out is there will be a beam-back at Smellhurst for those who don't get a ticket.

Barry's forged a very good career for himself despite being considerably average. Much like Stuart Downing, if they were right footed they wouldn't be anywhere near the England team but apparently they bring "balance" to the side.

Hmmm. Considerably average.

487 top flight appearances. 53 international appearances. Premiership champion and FA Cup winner.

Yeah, Mr Average.

Correct.
The police have restricted Millwall,Charlton and the weed to 2600.
Rumour is Leeds will get the same allocation.

I can see Palace fans numbers being restricted by clubs with the trouble your fans have been getting into recently.
Trouble at Watford were you own fans were injured and now this bad publicity.
Crystal Palace fans in court for trashing train carriage before London derby From News Shopper)

Not good for the self proclaimed best fans in the league?

There is a meeting on the 28th (involving supporters reps from both clubs) to discuss this forthcoming fixture. Equivalent of the meeting at Selhurst prior to our visit. Guess we'll know a bit more afterwards w.r.t. any specific matchday planning that affects fans/transport.

Yeah, Mr Average.

Don't forget he only plays for England and Citeh (as a central midfielder) because he's left footed. Of course.

Usual News Shopper reporting (a Millscum rag).

The fact that there are several people in court seems to be the only accurate part of the article.

Is this the meeting where the Safety Advisory Group , Sussex Police , BTP and Met Police plus representation from both supporter's groups discuss potential issues that may occur on the day ?

Bound to let them out at the same time and as before will be problems . Police not fussed as the CCTV is good so easy nickings. Much like when the Police escorted them past BHA pubs knowing easy nickings were to be had in the following weeks.

They've got to increase the number of "risk supporters" on the database somehow  Simplest way was to march SCUM fans up Queens Road past the BHA pubs to provoke a reaction on the way to the station instead of kettling them through the side streets.

Apart from the fact that some have pleaded guilty and many of your fans are not happy with the attitude that you are displaying, when you read this thread.

And now your chairman has posted the Palace fans broke 60 seats at Watford.

Yes lets give this scum as many seats as they want, I don't think so.

Where is anyone on that thread taking issue with my views on the quality of News Shopper's reporting?

Or are you simply projecting whatever you want to? Baffling.

I have posted regularly on the BBS against mindless thuggish behaviour (which reflects badly on both our clubs), so I really don't know what you are imagining.
