P Party

The better half has been invited to a P party at the end of the month for Angela Grocutts 40th birthday party and I am being dragged along.



Need something unique to go as, anyone got anything inspirational?

When I was in year 11 or thereabouts I went to a P party, someone in my year decided to go as grapes - purple grapes. He decided to paint himself purple and then stick purple balloons to himself. As you might expect within the first 5 minutes everyone walked up to him and burst his balloons so for the majority of the evening he walked around hardly dressed covered in purple paint.

Therefore I advise against going as purple grapes. I went as the Pope.

I am going to be a utter dick here but in just one line you have managed to hit three of my biggest hates in life:

a) Calling someone your better/other half
b) Saying you are getting dragged along (don't go if you don't want to)
c) Fancy dress parties. Humour for people with no humour.

You COULD do that if you wanted. But here's what will happen. Six years and three months later there will be a marital disagreement over a can of beans. She will storm off in a huff and not speak to Crodo for DAYS. This will puzzle him greatly. Eventually - having said she was "FINE" and answered "NOTHING" to the question "what's wrong darling" she will shed enough tears to flood Carlisle and blurt out "IT'S JUST LIKE THAT TIME YOU WOULDN'T COME TO THE P PARTY WITH ME!".

I'm with Crodo. It's not worth the hassle.
