halcyon days. Whilst never as prolific as his predecessor Dikov the chant earned him a special place in the hearts of the fans.

The importance of chants is clearly exemplified in the 'cult status' of JCFG who was no way near the quality of McCarthy or Chapman, but he had a much better theme song

Moulden and Cotterill together. Cotterill may have been better, but between them, they had us up near the top of the table and scoring goals regularly, before they left and the season went to pants.

Didnt do much for us on loan as I recall, well nowhere near as good as when he was a Brighton player. Never go back.
