I think it is you having trouble with the reading thing. You took 2.2k to Millwall last season - not a sell out. We took 1.8k midweek. :D

See you are having trouble selling your allocation for Charlton - well it is a Friday night. Last time up there we took about 3.5k - let's see if you can match it.

As for the Millwall comment - we didn't limit their support coming to us or insist on a police escort to our own ground.

We sold what they gave us the whole of the top tier we won't get the bottom and neither will West Ham as they don't like us very much ,where as you lot no one cares about so you would get more if you sold them.
Neither did we limit their support ,that's thanks to the old bill,I'd rather give you what you wanted so would Cpfc 2010 but they won't allow it.
That's a fact as I've seen the document stating this.
I'm sure we will sell out ,we always do at the clowns still 10 days left .
The fact is you took 477 to Burnley that's a fraction of the your home crowd 25,000 odd the week before .That is a Noddy Plastic support is it not?

As an outsider....

Brighton's away support pisses on Palaces.

Comparative games on a Saturday - Brighton 1,067 to Hillsborough in 10/11 Palace 725 in 08/09 (ignore 09/10 as any side would have filled the West Stand in the circumstances)

Shouldn't you be on a Blades forum?
By the way Sheff Utds away support pisses over yours last time at Selhurst they took 5,000 last week you didn't even sell your allocation .
Big club?Your joking
Don't be bitter we turned you lot over I'm sure you will go on another 19 game unbeaten run.
Too many fat men with shirts off for my liking now run along to your coal mine.

Not really. There will be Saturday games where your away support will be similar, maybe worse. And as we've already established on this board, two seasons of near sell outs does not make us a massive club overnight. We're a provincial club with decent support.

And lets face it, Burnley away is one of the least attractive fixtures in the calendar for most southern teams. The place is a shit hole, and it's only saving grace is that it is very close to Leeds, which is a great city.

Were you the nonce at the front of the Holmesdale?

Right now I'm gonna dissect your post

1) By the way Sheff Utds away support pisses over yours - Wrong, in every conceivable way
2) last time at Selhurst they took 5,000 - No they didn't, they did that in 2008/09 as they could still get auto promotion
3) last week you didn't even sell your allocation - We sold 2,404 when have you ever brought those figures up for a bog standard league game.
4) Big club?Your joking - We are big in comparison to you, then again most other clubs are PS it's You're not your.
5) Don't be bitter we turned you lot over I'm sure you will go on another 19 game unbeaten run. - Far from bitter, we were poor, you were slightly less poor, we have 7 points you have 3.
6) Too many fat men with shirts off for my liking now run along to your coal mine - As opposed to orchestrated signing by a bunch of blokes who give it the big un inside but are quiet as mice outside, as for the coal mines, you do realise it's the 21st century don't you? although looking around Selhurst perhaps it isn't

I agree with you my original response was to someone claiming our away support was piss poor it's not but compared to our home gates it stacks up quite well with the rest of the division.

To be honest, even I'm bored with attendance willy waving - and I was pretty bad for this a while ago. I'm quite comfortable with the gates we're getting, and really couldn't give a shit about our away support.

I do enjoy a chuckle at your home gates though, especially as we get more than you and Millwall combined.

As Dave Jones said in his post match interview, the ref was a joke, much like your team is, he revved up the crowd which made it hard for Wednesday to make a tackle without your lot of knob jockies making a noise for a foul that wasn't there. I dont really like Sheff Weds, but your lot are tinpot and a joke club. So f*** off and run along to your shithole of a forum.

Keep peddling this lie and someone might start to believe it.

No doubt you also believe that the 10,000 empty home seats at the Albion & Millwall games at Shithurst last season was due to segregation.

Your support is tinpot - we know it you know it.

Are you sure you will sell out at Charlton ? Seems to me you can only sell out when your club choose to ask for small allocations.

THIS is the sort of Sheffield Wednesday fan I've met in my time living in Sheffield. Shame that 90% of those on Owlstalk are absolute KNOBBERS.

Well up for our game at Hillsborough, got mates coming up to stay for the whole weekend, as well as some uni mates tagging along, should be a cracking game. Seems that so far the players last season that fans thought were too inconsistent for this division (J Johnson and others), have been performing, see you finally managed to shift off Clinton Morison too. What do you think about Megson? Bit of a harsh sacking IMO, I know you've done it to death on your forum, but met the bloke a few months after around Broomhill and he still seemed a bit pissed off about it all.

Oh, and cracking city too.

I note that the referee didn't even issue a yellow card to Murray for simulation in the penalty area. Palace fans screaming like little girls everytime Zaha trips over a divot.

Owlstalk has some great posters, if you avoid the matchday section, plenty in that area have IQs matching their shoe size.

Many people make assumptions about our fanbase based on that site and it can be bloody annoying, I use the forum but as my username suggests I'm usually found elsewhere.

JJ has done well this season, the key to him his consistency, had he had that he'd be a very very good playing at the likes of Stoke or someone in the top flight.

The Megson sacking was correct, I'd not been happy since Xmas and as passionate as get was the football was awful to watch.

What does it f***ing matter?

My club is bigger than your, your doesn't sell out your allocation.

who gives a shit? i go along to support my team, against whoever they support. I have nothing against Sheffield Wednesday, i have nothing against Millwall, personally think Palace a the biggest bunch of CNUTS out, but that is my own personal opinion.

from those out there who know me, will know i am Brighton through and through, and seldom miss a game, (only through really serious matters) i mean, my brother is getting married on the 22nd of September and where will i be Millwall away.
To me Football is my family, seeing the same faces week in week out, arranging transport for the away games not just for me, but for others too, having a giggle with other teams fans in the pubs before the game, and right down to giving it my all in the stand and singing my heart out. I know what it means to be fanatical about a football club, i am not far from it myself.

But For gods sake all this will you ever sell out your allocation is pathetic, as other posters have put, we seldom sell out ours, only for the local teams, where the occasional fans decide to rock up for the day (Palace, Charlton etc) but where were you all on the cold Wednesday night in Wrexham? where were you all at Hull & Burnley?

I know that there are a lot of keyboard warriors battling on here trying to make things amusing, or trying to stir others up, and that is what makes NSC charming, bloody annoying at times. Those who lambaste other peoples ideas, because they think it is tacky, but really are jealous as they haven't thought of the idea themselves. But FFS get over it....

let's all put this to bed now, and concentrate on the things that do matter, Supporting our beloved Albion, putting our heads together to come up with some new songs (not more than 1 verse - you listening NSK) for our players. oh and more importantly having a bloody good time and laughing at Palace.

You go on about Millwall, and your great support, but all you take away to Leeds is 1400 or so, what a tinpot club, obviously you dont fancy urself against them then. And dont go giving all that shit about it being miles away, we took over 2000. Maybe the value of the Giro in Croydon needs to be increased for you lot.

Leeds/Palace have I missed something .Yeah it's a good night/day out but why would we take loads up there? 1,400 is ok .

I love this posted responce from one of the millwall fans: (I detest the Nigels' without any remorse whatsoever having suffered their arrogance, snobbishness , pomposity, lack of humour , zits , and any other personality defects and physical malformaties since 1955. They were a right snidey , snotty nosed bunch in the 50's and early 60's and frankly have'nt got any better. Do you want me to really go into detail?)

Think he is spot on with every word there.

If I posted and pasted what they said about you lot on there I'd be banned pronto. But then again we all know what they are say about Brighton don't we.

It's interesting, as a few years ago, some Millwall used to join up with Brighton for certain away games.

Anyone remember Chesterfield a few years ago (when we lost 1-0 and Charlie got sent off? There was Millwall there that day, just along for the 'day out')
