Indeed. They don't bother with facts though do they.
So we have better home and away following but we are plastic and they are loyal. . . .:ffsparr:

. . .and they are further north than us so less distance to travel.

New grounds for most of your support ,they be facts too.

i love seeing the old faces and having a few sessions at the AMEX but nothing beats a proper away day!!

turn up at Brighton station on a cold November morning to see 100+ bha with beers in shopping bags, breath in air ready to go london/midlands/outwest/some northern tin pot town - the atmosphere on days like these cannot be compared to a home game

Burnley like Barnsley, is a complete shithole, makes Croydon look like luxury, Burnley support was awesome the entire match. I think this season with some bigger teams coming down from the prem, away attendancies will increase.

Grawhite, i am assuming that you mean the Brighton Fans were Awesome, not the burnley fans??

You saying it doesn't make it a fact. Our home stadium may be a new ground for many of the supporters, because, er, it's new. But away grounds? No way - the away support held up brilliantly right through the club's nadir - if anything it improved as so many wouldn't go to Gillingham and, later, Withdean - and those fans are still around.

What's the reason why you lot can never sell your away allocation for Millwall ? - only 7 miles up the road.

Can't you read mate ?sold out 2,400 at the Den last year unlike you melts who jank yourselfs because it's Millwall, don't forget to bring glowsticks to the Den they love those sort of things down there.
Nice thread on MOL about you lot.:).
When you lot take that amount to the Den then you can give it.3 miles further than selhurst and apparently you would take 6,000 to ours but can't sell 2,000 for Millwall a very strange lot.

Yup, the support was awesome, although you cant hear it on the extended hilights, the fans were never quiet. Burnley fans on the other hand were like a library audience.

I like the idea of glow sticks at Millwall, I suggest yellow and pink, with a good rendition of YMCA - do you think this might make the locals restless?

You go on about Millwall, and your great support, but all you take away to Leeds is 1400 or so, what a tinpot club, obviously you dont fancy urself against them then. And dont go giving all that shit about it being miles away, we took over 2000. Maybe the value of the Giro in Croydon needs to be increased for you lot.

I think it is you having trouble with the reading thing. You took 2.2k to Millwall last season - not a sell out. We took 1.8k midweek. :D

See you are having trouble selling your allocation for Charlton - well it is a Friday night. Last time up there we took about 3.5k - let's see if you can match it.

As for the Millwall comment - we didn't limit their support coming to us or insist on a police escort to our own ground.

As an outsider....

Brighton's away support pisses on Palaces.

Comparative games on a Saturday - Brighton 1,067 to Hillsborough in 10/11 Palace 725 in 08/09 (ignore 09/10 as any side would have filled the West Stand in the circumstances)

I love this posted responce from one of the millwall fans: (I detest the Nigels' without any remorse whatsoever having suffered their arrogance, snobbishness , pomposity, lack of humour , zits , and any other personality defects and physical malformaties since 1955. They were a right snidey , snotty nosed bunch in the 50's and early 60's and frankly have'nt got any better. Do you want me to really go into detail?)

Think he is spot on with every word there.
