Hypothetical question really but do you think he would have stayed if TB had sacked Burke at the end of last season?

It's a good question, BG. I'd be inclined to think that he'd have been more likely to stay. You could equally suggest that things with Gus could have been different without a DoF being appointed in the first place.

Lovely bloke and a good manager. Not the most incisive football we've ever played but it's the results that matter and he delivered play-off football with a squad ravaged by injuries and several departures. Hope he does well wherever he ends up.

Touché. In truth I guess that as they play tomorrow it could well be a game he is here to watch and chat to the owner. The way they are sinking it wouldn't be a surprise if they sacked another manager.
