Generally they're shit, prevent an atmosphere, but there's not one at Withdean anyway. I suppose I'd rather not sit in front of someone blowing it all game though.

The club will not be allowing Vuvuzelas at Withdean this season. The club's management staff has consulted with a number of supporters on the issue to gauge overall opinion, while many others have also expressed their feelings on the matter, including your good self. The overwhelming majority feel it would be a negative impact on both atmosphere and enjoyment of the match at Withdean, therefore the club has decided not to permit them at the stadium this season.
