We won 4-3 I'm sure if memory serves me correctly.

Think we were 4-1 down though.
My one trip to Priestfield! I think we were 0-3 down at half time. Pulled it back to 3-3, then Colchester scored again, then we equalised with a penalty.

I never did a midweek game at Priestfield. Working in London and living in Shoreham there was a limit to how much travel I could stomach. I do recall another Barnet game, when we were probably at our lowest point in terms of morale and club finances. I looked at the map and Barnet to Priestfield was pretty much the same distance as Brighton to Priestfield. I think the away support was 123 on a Saturday.

I got over it a few years later when their fans livened up a paint pot tie at Withdean, with their version of the Final Countdown, I had not it heard before or since. Mind you they did go on a bit.
