all this had made me realise how much of a STUPID idea it would be for a joint bid of scotland/wales/ireland to host it

they have a few stadiums that are good enough, but they're all in about THREE cities!

Is that what it is down to?

I would think they could get away with that, by claiming it is over 40,000 but due to advertising and segregation it can only hold 39,000

or just put in some temporary seats somewhere

its worth it, cos its a well HISTORICAL ground and stuff

1- Wembley Stadium (England) - 90,000
2- Old Trafford (Man U) - 76,000
3- New Anfield (Liverpool) - 61,000
4- Emirates Stadiums (Arsenal) - 60,432
5- St James' Park (Newcastle) - 52,327
6- Villa Park (Aston Villa) - 42,573

it would be a shame not to use the likes of Eastlands and Stadium of Light but there too close to other big stadiums.

I would also use Twickenham.

Both Stade De France and Parc De Prince were used in '98.

The later hosted the excellent Iran v USA game I believe
