Just far enough away from LDC
How on earth did this lot beat australia in a test match. Was it a betting scam?

Should we claim the extra half hour today?

Way out west
This test could be over well inside three days, maybe that is why it started on Friday rather than Thursday, so the bigger weekend crowds could be cashed in on.

Was watching our local (Midlands) news while eating my lunch, there has been criticism about ticket prices being high at Edgebaston...£60 for the cheapest seat...hence the ground has large empty spaces. This is a real pity, surely for a game slap bang in the middle of the summer holidays a sensible pricing structure would have filled the place up...even at £35-40 they would have made a decent profit, even more when you consider extra use of bar/catering facilities.

It just seems to me that people running many sports see them as a licence to print money, pricing many people out of them. Does anyone know of a sport where you can watch top level action and it doesn't cost a King's ransom to get in?

Think England should declare on 0/0 when they bat their first innings to give Pakistan a chance

If half the ground's being rebuilt why didn't they play the test somewhere else?
