I notice there has been no update on our site since his I'm torn comments on saturday.

Well thats a surprise, we really do have the WORST official website of all of those around.

Add to the worst website in all of football the fact that the club's 'press officer' is on holiday:tosser: Or at least was yesterday

Erm, we're a football club, we are in the football season, why does the press officer :lolol: go on holiday during the football season FFS?

We are in October-a traditional time for Albion managers to jump ship and our line of communication to the club (officially) is on holiday?

Is it any wonder we get so frustrated with so little news coming out?

If SC is still talking to Reading, it may just be that he hasn't yet told DK that he is leaving.

The "fact" that "everyone knows" is no fact at all.

If there is nothing to announce, there will be no announcement.

Why the wait, just get it over and done with

Imagine if Coppell was going to turn it down, comes home, sticks his feet up and looks at NSC, sees all these comments calling a maggot etc and decides thats it Im off!!

If he does come on here then he'll have seen/felt the frustrations of Brighton fans caused by his prevarication. If what is written on here is what makes him Reddung's new manager then he wasn't ours anyway-merely somebody using us to open other doors.

Come on DK-YOU make the announcement because we're all totally f***ed off with it all now.

We won't have had a reply from Coppell today as he is no doubt comfortably ensconced in Arseface Wig-Wearer Madejski's office discussing his tidy financial package over a cup of tea and a chocolate digestive, leaving the players he is still technically responsible for training with Bob Booker and wondering what the hell's going on.

I bet Dick Knight can't wait to tell him to f*ck off, but he can't announce anything official until Coppell bothers to call him.

Bitter, you betcha.

Exactly Brian/Wife (separate Swedish from Welsh). Who gives a shit about what has been written about him on here? He deserves it, and if he does do and about turn and continue at the Albion he will have lost a lot of respect from a lot of people here and he knows that. As I said before, he may currently be in no-mans land

I seem to remember that DK's line over "announcements" is that we only publish news when there is news to publish - we don't deal in speculation and we don't put out denials of other people's speculation.

so hardly suprising that the web site isn't updated with something saying nothing.

I don't know if its been said elsewhere, but the Independent says Coppell has come back to us today to see if we can top Reading's offer of £250,000.

I think we're all getting annoyed because there is a game for US on Saturday and to US it's important. Clearly not so important to Coppout or he'd be at the training ground this morning with the team, leaving him this afternoon for his tea and biccies interview with John Gregory's dad. He is being very disrespectful to us regardless of his decision.

This club finds itself in limbo for the third October running so is it any wonder we want some news?

Personally I believe his position has become untenable and he should just go. We'll get over his leaving, we'll be in the shake up come end of season and he'll soon realise he screwed up by leaving.

I didn't like the idea of Hob Nobs, they are nasty biscuits that leave a sour taste in the mouth.

We should make an announcement today that SC has left as he has not turned up for work and not been in contact. Get in before Reading.???

Agreed, it would be very poor PR for Reading, and it would make us look stupid, if Reading announce SC as manager and we haven't already announced his resignation.

But maybe he can't bring himself to resign, can he manage two clubs simultaneously ?

There's far too much premature ejaculation going on at the moment.

Knowing our PR, we will probably announce ' XYZ ' as the new manager of BHA whilst forgetting that, as we've made no mention of a resignation, we actually already have one !

BTW not turning up for training doesn't automatically mean he's talking to Reading ( and in any case it's likely any negotiations are taking place in ' neutral ' territory - probably some hotel suite somewhere off the M25 ).

I hear that there's a nice neutral hotel in Reddung that they could use.

Far too obvious, would have been all over the Reading press if that were the case - I think most people could recognise SC from 200 yards or so.

Madejski has probably got SC tied to chair and dangling a pen to force him to sign right now - SC is thrashing round saying , ' no, no, I won't, I won't, you can't make me '. Meanwhile Nicky Hammond, Madejski henchman is slowly drawing liquid in to a syringe from a phial marked ' truth serum '.

Or maybe I been watching too many WW2 films again..........

Really? That sounds very plausible. I think he probably really is torn.

Pardew may well have told him all about how Madejski runs things, good and bad.

And SC has certainly seemed to have enjoyed his time here, always harping on about great bunch of lads / back room staff.

And Knight probably said if it comes down to money then I'll match it.

Intruiging!

As always M'lud is the one to bring calm to the storm.

AFAIK, LB is spot on - no decision likely to be made until Thursday (at the earliest).

Maybe the pendulum is turning?
