I'd love to think that the Pendulum was turning, I just can't be doing with giving myself false hope. I just can't see him changing his mind again.

How does a pendulum turn? I thought they swung?

Regardless of what it does-I need to be earning a living instead of hanging about on here for another 3 days until Coppout says goodbye.

Arrrrrrgggghhhhh!

Well the silence is deafening tomorrow we will be looking for another manager!! At least we have got experience at this:lolol:

Thursday!!!!!??????? FOR FECKS SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just say "Going " or "Staying"

ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH

Anyone recall last week.

thursday was the when he said he was going to ignore it all and prepare for Saturday. What happens if nothing happens on Thursday - is he just preparing the team (like last week) or are negotiations taking longer>

either way we are running the risk of not having a manager on Saturday.

and after all this what happens if he stays. He's put out a huge "I'M available" signal to anyone else who might be in the market (Hmmmmm N17 is a very nice area!)

If he does decide to stay I think he deserves to be booed by the Withdean crowd for his mercenary stance. He'll have burnt his bridges with Reading and be stuck with us in this love/hate relationship.

In truth I am already convinced he's gone.

However, the further delay is hard to explain. The only reason which occurs to me is that they cannot actually agree terms. This is the only hope I can see - i.e Coppell has actually decided he wants to go but there is something in the conditions he doesn't like and on which Reading won't compromise.

A slim chance I think, but maybe the only chance there is.

Ah, but we are so fickle. One minute we hate him because he's Palace, the next we are desparate for him to manage us, then we all hate him because he's going to Reading. If he stays he'll probably get the biggest ovation ever on Saturday

But f they are just arguing about terms then why can't they (whoever they are) announce that the deal is agreed in principle, and that SC is the new manager at RFC subject to personal terms being agreed.

happpens all the time with players, so why not managers:ohmy: :nono:
