Some great games already, last night St louis won it with less than a minute to go and The Detroit/Anaheim game, blimes it was 3-0 and 4-1 Anaheim got it back to 4-4 with 2.22 to go but then lost it in overtime. The Sens game (apart from the injury) was another up and down game, 1-0 Sens, then 2-1 Canadiens, then 4-2 Sens.

Anyone know how the New Jersey Devils fared this season?.

Finished bottom of the Atlantic division on 48 points, 7 points adrift of the last playoff spot. So not a good season by their standards.

Ruddy hate ovie and those caps. Cue a comeback!

Good to see the leafs not just rolling over to the bruins. But I guess they will end up with their usual luck against us. Can't believe they couldn't beat Ottawa and leave us with Montreal. Some might say they accidentally lost by purpose.

A game which the Rangers had to win - and they did 4-3, despite a nerve wracking last few minutes when the Capitals had a Powerplay. Marvellous scenes at MSG. Capitals now 2-1 in the series.

The big news from my perspective is Vancouver down 0-3 to San Jose. The Sharks are monumental underachievers in the post season and to have the Canucks - albeit an overrated, ageing, "soft" club - on the ropes like this is great news. Plus on a humorous/ironic note, Canucks defenceman Kevin Bieksa has accused some of the Sharks of embellishment, resulting in Shark power plays. This is very funny as Vancouver are notorious divers and embellishers, led by Kesler and Burrows. It is sort of a hockey equivalent of Palace accusing Albion of diving for penalties.

What an idiot.

Couldn't see the Rangers winning this one anyway. As bad as the Southeast Division is - and it is horrible - home ice in the 1st round is big and the Caps have it.

Personally I love seeing the Rangers lose just to see Tortorella blow his stack and listen to his sound bytes!

That Ottawa-Montreal game the other night was something else. I haven't seen anything like that in the playoffs for a very long time. Montreal should be embarrassed for the way they instigated the melee and for the way they were hammered in each one of the fights. Bush league is what that was. I hope Ottawa bounces them out of the playoffs post haste.

Rangers take the 4th game with a 4-3 win, tying the series 2-2. Lundqvist played out of his skin in the 3rd period.

The Rangers have definitely made the most of their 2 home games.

It's either the Sharks or Red Wings for the Blackhawks next. I'm hoping the Ducks will beat the Red Wings so we'll face the Sharks in the next round.
