Mrs V and I woke just in time to catch the result. I must admit I felt a little tear in my eye. I genuinely think we are better together and would definitely been sad if we had lost them, well apart from Andy Murray.

Well, in the welsh assembly vote in 97 (ie do the welsh want one), just over 50% turnout and just over 50% of them voted yes, so really only just over 25% of the welsh population voted for it. But this turnout in scotland is the highest by miles post war and for once, apathy has not won.
