Actually, it will be anyway - providing the final is a decent game. The final always seems MASSIVELY over important in deciding whether a World Cup has been good or not.

Why did the ref even need to blow his whistle then? He could've let play run for a few more seconds, given the position the French were in. Has anyone else noticed that the added time seems to generally be the exact amount of time the refs are adding in, rather than being a suggested minimum?
