Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

If Ivory Coast can do the same to Greece then I'll be very happy indeed.

What a travesty that these clowns from Switzerland are seeded

And an even bigger travesty that they seem to come to every tournament intent on grinding out 0-0 draws. At least that's the memory I always have of them.

Cuckoo clocks! Efficient train services! Nazi gold! Pir Zurbriggen! Unnecessary financial arrogance. Shit chocolate. Cow bells can you hear me? Cow bells? Efficient airports. Exoensive food! Nice scenery! Can you hear me? Your boys took a hell of a beating!

And every time the French fans burst into song with La Marseilleise I feel jealous, when we have to put up with the shittest wankiest most boring irrelevant "anthem" you could imagine.

Great goal there though.

I have a soft spot for both teams - French family so hope they win now, but I was in Dortmund with 65,000 Swiss in 2006 and every single one of them I spoke to were absolutely top blokes.

Christ I never remembered there were so many good reasons to loathe the Swiss. Allez les bleus!

Nothing against the nation, it's home to Fabian Cancellara after all :) But as a football team I only ever seem to remember dull dull dull.

In future tournaments, can Switzerland start every match 5 nil down please. We might see some decent football from them then
