Anyone got an idea what these are on my fig tree leaves. Little cobwebs all over with a tiny caterpillar in each one.

Hawthorn moth at a guess.
West Indian Cucumbers, Anguria...I believe..
Fig tree skeletonizer or fig leaf roller are its names. It will do some damage so pick them off and dispose. I wouldn't treat with anything if you intend to eat your figs though.

I know it as Achocha or Bolivian cucumber. The leaves are different from Anguria, it is rampantly taking over my greenhouse.

All ready for this year, spuds going in end of March, providing its not too wet and seeds also being planted in pots before going into ground.

What a joy to see @AmexRuislip has been toiling away. Looks more than ready to go.
Put my potatoes in today. Caledonian Rose, Heidi Red, Pink Fir Apple and Charlottes. Gone for 50% red skins as more slug resistant and last year my potatoes provided a feast for slugs. Next week is getting colder but they should be happy in their covered trenches.
Looking forward to some purple sprouting broccoli in a week or two. Small heads have appeared.

The ground is still wet, all that London clay
Our pots are Acoustic and Caledonian Rose.
This has reminded me to introduce this thread to my other half who got a small patch in November. It's all very new to us both. Only 16 pages to look through!
Previous owner's leftovers are all dug up and dug over, including a load of couch grass (my job of course). Horse poo in.
Currently have a house full of chitting potatoes (Maris Piper & Charlotte) and propagators.
A lot to learn, zero expectations, and anything that comes good in the first year will be a bonus. Will post pics in due course (it won't be a patch on yours which all look great!)

The most curious thing..
It's a wee bit early round here to start planting seeds. Every time I have tried in previous years the weather has turned cold and/or wet and any seeds refused to play.
I might try some in pots in the cold frame and indoors just to see what happens.

We used to have wood surrounds, but what with wood rotting and cost of replacing, decided to raise earth on surrounds.
Grass makes it easier on the eye.
Yep, his afterthought-grass-in-between is better than our lawn!
