Last time a Halle Bob Comet came along, they closed the Goldstone, I think it was Barnet in an evening match and it was cloudy then as well.

Still cant see it, v dissapointed.

Is Mars the one with that weird "face" on it that NASA always pretend is just some rock formation. If Mars is cloaser this week, does this heighten the chances of alien invasion, if only by a bit. Should I get some tins in just in case?

It was easily visible last night - again from the Sussex coast. Although slightly less orangey than before. Is it me or does it look very slightly "figure of eight"-y? I don't have a "tellyscope" or "binockoolars".

Mars rises at Eight tonight, and sets at 4.30 tommorow morning.

Best to view at 12.00 if you are awake, look south, it will be the brightest thing in the sky. If not awake look as late as posible before you go to bed.

Is it that orange star that's a bit brighter than the others that if you stand at the top of Preston Drove & it's in the sky someplace over the Marina which I guess is sort of South East. New to all this - cos all these 'best meteor storm for five billion years' and 'most fabulous view of Uranus since time began' that they always report is always totally obscured by some shitty wodge of cloud.

Yeah, I'd be up for that super nova. Death to clouds! is the view from Preston Park!, - with or without UN backing. Hell, go for it! What do we do? Point aerosols at the sky? Chop up the pipes at the back of old fridges, pop that stuff inside the bubbles of bubble-wrap. JUst Do It aye!?

I don't know otherwise I wouldn't be asking

It's a clear enough day and I still can't see it so I'm thinking tonight as the sun's reflection will be reflecting off it. Or is it too small?

look tonight, and tom hark preston park, do what ever we have to, death to the clouds
