o/t cheap but cheeful restaurants

The Standard play a mixture of eighties Cheese and modern stuff open till 1am free to get in.

Next door is Creations. £10 to get in or free before 10pm. Three different levels, the best part being downstairs (used to be club Barcelona) plays 60's /70's /80's cheese till 2:30.

OK, point taken about the 118 get up, silly idea really.

As we seem to be planning your whole evening, and before we move on to decent kebab houses and numbers for a taxi home, may I be bold enough to suggest a good hangover cure. It is called a brown cow, take a pint glass and mix 50/50 coke and orange juice, it looks a bit iffy but tastes ok and gives your body the perfect pick up after night on the razz.

Oh, and have a good one whatever you end up doing.

The Funky Fish on the seafront, just up from the Escape, plays really good funk and soul stuff on a Friday and Saturday night. Fairly cheap to get in, and drinks aren't overpriced either.
