It's shocking that four people are voting no. We had a enquiry that dragged on for months looking into alternative sites - were these people sleeping for a long, long time?

Maybe they were too busy masturbating.

for all the legal reasons, planning reasons, and mainly financial reasons, its the only, and therefore has to be the RIGHT CHOICE

If the club had any money its not the BEST choice in my opinion

I voted 'no'.
My reasoning:
I started following this club in about 1999 when we moved to Withdean - the Falmer saga had only really just begun. Now it is 2006, 7 years later, and we don't seem at all near a new stadium.

Yes, i agree Falmer is the best suited place for a Stadium, but I can't believe that all of the other sites would have taken so long to get permission to build on. Unfortunately, it appears mostly down to bad luck, combined with bastard opponents, and there is nothing we could have done about that. No-one would have known it would have taken this long, so i vote 'no' only with hindsight.

I thought you didn't give a toss :lolol:

None of the other sites would have got permission from Brighton & Hove City Council in the first place - they would all have been refused. Also, it doesn't mean to say Falmer is the wrong choice.

if it wasn't for the old Hove council we'd still be at the Goldstone and the sale would never have gone through without finidng an alternative site

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Have we not got it yet???

The best and right choice out of a bad bunch. That is what comes from being cocooned by the South Downs.

One thing that bemuses me is why people think naming it Falmer was wrong. The FPC would have contested the decision anyway, as would the LDC. The planning permission is granted on merit of the site and they have the final decision. People that think we are building over a pond have no say in the matter whatsoever.

The thing is Rolls Royce, Goodwood race course both around chichester managed to get away with it and the body shop at Littlehampton, i think it's a class thing.

I personally think the race course is a eye sore and you can see it for miles, how did that they manage that?
