Over to nsc to produce the list of the 100 albums every record collection should have. You can nominate any album by any artist, but only 1 record per artist will make the 100.

To start you off;

The Rolling Stones masterpiece, the definition of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.

This could be quite good. I'll go for:

The Cure - Seventeen Seconds

I'd also suggest an album by The Smiths but am struggling to decide which one...

I was just deciding on a Cure album, i had settled for Disintegration but am happy with Seventeen Seconds.

Can I stick in Abbey Road?
and Jurassic 5 by Jurassic 5

As I always think people look a bit twattish if they mention an obscure album in these kind of lists I'll go for Achtung Baby by U2.

I'm totally with the OP though. Exile is a masterpiece.

This would be a good thread but I think it would be better if people numbered them, chose one per post and only added their favourite albums until the latter numbers otherwise it will just become another long list thread.

I'll go with Streets - Original Pirate Material
