[Albion] Not so worried about empty seats for Liverpool....more worried about empty pint glasses

Saw this advert on Facebook earlier. Never seen sodexho looking for staff this way before

Last Sunday the east lower was full of c18 yr olds working (not uni students but 6th form ones). However with A levels and GCSEs in full swing starting this week I suspect even that pool of staff is exhausted

They're definitely "leaning in" to 6th formers. Quite a few people my son's at BHASVIC with have been working at the Amex this season.

I arrived into the SWC just gone 1pm and there was ONE till open of NINE.

The queue was to the back wall blocking access to the toilets.

I can't remember the last time we had a full set of tills open.

I know we are being forcibly removed in 2 seasons but making it unpleasant on match days is really pissing me off. We really have a bum deal down there right now.

Whilst I had thought about the ko time being inconvenient for kids doing exams (I have one doing a levels and another doing GCSEs this year) I hadn't really thought about bar staff.

One of the many reasons we are moving next season

Done a Frexit, now in London
ESU only had 6 tills open at the last home game.

The old sweet kiosk (now does pies and hot dogs too but not alcohol) in east lower was shut on Sunday plus c15%of tills not open

I'm blaming that for why I couldn't get my lucky 4th pint in (that cost us the game IMHO)

Probably needed to move staff to the Terrace Bar to fill vacancies of those that couldn't work Sunday.

You need to be 18 to serve booze, so I don’t think the unavailability of GCSE aged kids would make much difference.

You are right they do. But u18s do work elsewhere in the kiosks and if they aren't available then more 18pluses are needed
