Sorry if already posted,

Saw this on twitter: 'Suspolfootball Darren Balkham
Remember to use the official park and ride sites on Sat for #BHAFC v #Cov parking illegally in residential areas could result in a ticket'

Don't know if this is true.

Also isn't there parts of coldean and other places that are outside the parking zone?

It's only illegal as per normal legislation, ie if you park on double yellow lines, or zigzags, or hatchings, or you block someone's driveway.

It's not illegal to park in Coldean per se, the club, residents and council would just prefer you didn't, and all travelled to matches in hot air balloons.

All the tweet suggests is Coldean will be awash with parking wardens eager to issue tickets to drivers parked illegally.

It's a bit easier for you though, using the company car.

Coldean
Coldean does not come under the 'residents parking' restrictions like Moulsecoomb.

As long as you park legally and considerately there will be no problem.

I noticed that there are lots of little signs on the A27 east of the stadium last night reminding people that it is illegal to park on the verges so they will probably be targetting those as well.

yeah yeah and anyone who parked near Withdean, dropped a crisp packet, drunk beer in the street or farted out loudly was also 'directly taking away our chances of getting Falmer'

Not sure it is especially relevant to football but it ALWAYS makes sense when parking to fart downwind of traffic wardens.
