A formal bid, if that's what it is, doesn't mean CMS is going. The initial price is unlikely to be acceptable to TB and GP & CMS plans not necessarily Ok about leaving at this point especially given GP difficulties with getting team to play his way. And the squad is at least 1 short of a quality striker anyway. Orlandi makes a lot more sense coming in giving his Barcelona/ Swansea/Lambert background. Also Orlandi more useful/flexible midfielder given KLL, Buckley & Vicente and now 2 attacking full backs with Bridge/ Bruno.
Anyway there will be more offers. It's to be expected as GP said in the presser this am. NCFC fans seem a bit sniffy about idea of CMS it appears.
To be a force we really need to add two more strikers never mind selling one.Think we should avoid orlandi big time as he's the ultimate sick note.

Personally can't see cms going anywhere as we're starting to attack in which at last means it will suit cms:)

I can't imagine we would accept an offer without having another player definitively in place.

If they meet our valuation, it's unlikely he will turn down a move to the Prem.
Even if they meet our valuation, we'd be mad to let him go without a replacement signed. We already need another striker even if he stays. What happens if teams meet our valuation for all our players, do we sell them all and field our reserves?

Would we be happy with Morison in return?

Not sure how I feel about that.

In the right team he'd do OK - but I never said he was a prem striker. And I think i said a year ago most would've said he was one of the best oputside prem - prem teams were chasing him! You need to look at the agent thread today by that kid etc... Find somethnig funnier!

PS - TeamCMS 3 - 0 Doubters

Don't get me wrong, i was starting to warm to CMS, but if a decent offer come in then he has to go.

We already need 2 strikers, and can't seem to get even 1 in. I have no idea how on earth we'll sign 3 by 11pm tomorrow, so this is very unwelcome news.

Are we going into the next part of the season with just Barnes ( unless he goes to Wolves ) and Agdestein ??

So would I - I bet if they offered £2m and Morison we might have a deal...

They're the same age give or take a few months. Morison proved himself two seasons running in this division, CMS hasn't done so in either of his two seasons. I'm a big CMS fan, but that's the truth, maybe we didn't play to his strengths, in which case as a big strong guy up top Morison looks a decent fit.

I'd take anything around £1.5m plus Morison personally.
