CMS has hardly been a success in the Championship, would be astonished if a Premier League club come in for him. I can't see it happening.

Tezza! Is my post that said a yr ago most people on here would have said CMS was 'one of the best strikers outside the prem' still the funniest thnig you've sen on here?! x

Sky Sports reporting it, doesn't make it any more true. They've likely seen the rumour on the internet like everyone else.

Anyone else and I would agree. But Skysports are usually quite good at this..............certainly I believe them when they say Norwich have enquired. Whether CMS goes or not is entirely different and Skysports are not saying its a done deal.

When are we going to sign a decent striker FFS? This is doing my head in.

Don't think we should unless we have someone better lined up, and when I say better I mean much better. No point replacing someone with someone of similar ability. I hope he stays unless they bid £5m

A formal bid, if that's what it is, doesn't mean CMS is going. The initial price is unlikely to be acceptable to TB and GP & CMS plans not necessarily Ok about leaving at this point especially given GP difficulties with getting team to play his way. And the squad is at least 1 short of a quality striker anyway. Orlandi makes a lot more sense coming in giving his Barcelona/ Swansea/Lambert background. Also Orlandi more useful/flexible midfielder given KLL, Buckley & Vicente and now 2 attacking full backs with Bridge/ Bruno.
Anyway there will be more offers. It's to be expected as GP said in the presser this am. NCFC fans seem a bit sniffy about idea of CMS it appears.

Norwich are probably thinking we want rid and will sell on the cheap.

Not so, I would expect.

They reported on CMS to Leeds - nothing came of it. However, this may have legs on it

If they meet our valuation, it's unlikely he will turn down a move to the Prem.

Reporting on something isn't saying it has happened. Leeds were interested in CMS, but wouldn't meet what we wanted.

There is no way we will sell CMS without having another striker lined up. Gus is not stupid, he will not leave us with just Ashley Barnes able to play upfront at the moment. Bloom and Gus know what they are doing.

Yes, i would still agree with what i said. There's over 10 strikers better than him in the Championship. Do you genuinely believe that he could cut it in the PL?

In the right team he'd do OK - but I never said he was a prem striker. And I think i said a year ago most would've said he was one of the best oputside prem - prem teams were chasing him! You need to look at the agent thread today by that kid etc... Find somethnig funnier!

PS - TeamCMS 3 - 0 Doubters

Agree with this, he will only go if we have others lined up. Like Noone I would be sorry to see him go but the money could be used on someone better suited to our style. I don't believe we are a selling club hence means to an ends if he goes
