Oh, it's a math thread

RR%20Easy.jpg
100 + (8 x 2) = 116

116 x 7 = 812

812 - 3 - 2 = 807

Bad Light saves us...

This is going to be a Long Season.

The last time we played Northampton there were lots of runs and very few wickets. Wantage ROAD was about right, Sounds like this is another belter - what a track for Garton to make his debut on

George will have been picked partly because he swings the ball and can take wickets.regardless of the surface. Very, very difficult though making a step up in class and clearly looks like the batters will be on top in this game.

Have we lost yet. Praying for rain as usual save our batters being humiliated
CLATTER of wickets this morning.

Northants have COLLAPSED and are 401-5 at lunch.

Pleasing brace for George Garton.

Bad light? they don't seem to be having too much difficulty smashing the pies round the park... what a ridiculous decision to come off.

In the last 3 overs, Briggs went for two boundaries, then Shahzad for 11 including a SIX, and a boundary 4 off the last ball of the Briggs over before they came off. RIDICULOUS :nono:

Apparently Brown has no choice all decided by the umpires this season - light has to improve from last reading from stumps prior to coming off for them to return

If it uses up time and helps us get a draw, even at this early stage rather than lose, who will complain

50 over one day game, there are no wide balls, no wides, no extras and no overthrows.

What is the maximum number of runs that a batsman could score in an ideal case scenario, having to keep strike for the next over.
