Mile Oak for me. Could probably throw kick a ball onto the pitch from where I live but have never been for some reason. May be a regular now the H bus has been cancelled....

Don't forget, especially for those that aren't going to QPR the following night, it's The Hawks vs...er The Hawks*, Tuesday 17 Sept.

Expect lots of "we are the hawks, we are the hawks, we are we are we are the hawks" from both ends!

*Havant & Waterlooville, in case you were wondering....

Are they finally going to get into the Conference North at the end of this season, very good start so far. Is it 3 play off finals defeats in a row now for them?

Still the best away support I saw at the Withdean.

They have started well. Will be the first time I've been to Gigg Lane to see them....been invited by a client who sponsors them. Corporate hospitality is a car parking space and a pie at half time. They get 1500 for home games which is pretty impressive.

Edit: and a chance to have a go on this, quality.

Nice idea in theory, in practice though my guess is most people would only go and watch non league if it involves minimal effort. Both Lewes and Whitehawk should do well this weekend though.

a very good day out is FC United, have been several times. The atmosphere is always good although attendences have dropped a little, one match I saw was a 7-0 win v Stone Dominoes (I kid you not) The crowd was around the 3000 mark and this was NW Counties League the equivelent of the Sussex County, the other teams in this division averaged about 100. Hopefully they'll get promoted this year after losing 3 succesive play off finals. Give my regards to the Pack Horse!
