...at matches until we are safe. Every match from now on in could be the one that keeps us in the Championship. Until we are mathematically safe let's get behind the team by encouraging them to win every tackle, throw in, corner, etc, etc, and even when we are safe let's keep it going.

Chanting "We want Falmer" just divides the fans and detracts from the encouragement we should be giving to the players and team. I can't see how chants of "we want Falmer" are going to put Ellington, Roberts, Kitson, Sheringham, Harewood, Zamora, etc, off their games or motivate the Albion players.

I'll concede to a few WWF chants at the televised Reading match when we are a few goals up!

Any singing at Withdean would be nice.

fair enough but traditionally evening matches have created more noise than Saturdays.

I disagree as getting Falmer is more important than any game we play and any promotion or relegation we have...It is that simple.

I would happily take relegation this season if I knew we were going to get the green light for Falmer in the summer. Obviously I want Falmer and to stay up but I think everyone understands what I mean.

Albion & England forever.

Absolute bollocks. Falmer is FAR more important than staying in the Championship so suggesting we shouldn't chant about it is absurd.

We must make a big effort tomorrow week when live on Sky to get the message across.

I understand that getting Falmer is all-important, but how is chanting 'We Want Falmer' at games going to make that happen? Be honest, it's not going to have any influence on the inquiry either way, is it? But getting behind your team might well have an influence on the relegation battle. That's how it looks from here anyway.

I understand what you mean but do you really think 40/50 (at times) people chanting WWF in front of 6500 die hard Albion fans and 200 Wigan fans is going to make the slightest bit of difference to John Prescott's decision? however an Albion in Div 1 needs a needs Falmer less than an Albion in the C'ship.

All I am saying is that for 90 minutes the fans can do more for the team's prospects of winning than it can for a new stadium.

Every single voice that shouts for Falmer, no matter where that person is helps in someway...We have to believe that.

Absolutely agree. It's ridiculous, we are preaching to the converted. Who exactly is going to be at a game and is going to be influenced by that, or the dreadful "Stand Up If You Want Falmer."

If JP was there, or for games that are on telly, then fair enough. If we sing it, and the commentators mention in then marvellous we want coverage, and people to say how ridiculous it is that we haven't got it.

But a rainy night vs Wigan, how exactly will it make the slightest difference? If I thought it would help, I would have my foreskin chopped off, but I don't think it will help, and nor does chanting about Falmer to 7000 people all of whom also want Falmer.

We sing about wanting falmer because...we want falmer! :dunce:

......not because we necessarily expect to get falmer as a result of singing from the stands!

And besides, any singing is better than none (especially at withdean).

I just think that's stating the bleeding obvious, to say we want Falmer.

I sing for the team to get a result, because I naively believe it HELPS. I can't believe singing on Tuesday night that we want Falmer will help.

Of course I want it, I want to shag Rachel Stevens as well, but I don't sing about it.

be better to go and sing WWF outside the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday night and give your ticket to someone who sings to encourage an Albion victory, then everyone wins!

I dont see how cheering for Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker is going to help much.
