That’s literally what happened last year. Vote mainly split between 4 parties plus a not-insignificant 6.9% green vote meant Labour got a huge majority with only 34.7%.

I'm still not buying that Reform can acquire that same 34% (or 32, or 30%) and obtain a similar landslide to Labour.
I have been assure I am wrong (with a reasonable endorsement from a sensible NSC poster) but I'm just not feeling it.

Like you Harry, I’m not sure they have the calibre of candidates the length and breadth of the Country, to get across the line.

I still think the Jenrick/Farage axis and a new hybrid Conservative Reform Party is probably where it will all end up.

I was chatting to an old work colleague this evening. She stood as a Reform candidate in the recent council elections but didn't get in. Interestingly, she was very dismissive of Farage, thinking of him as a complete chancer. She also thinks that the party is hugely disorganised.

I could have told her all of that but it was quite something coming from a Reform candidate.

She's moving down here in the next few months and is thinking of standing again - good luck making headway in this neck of the woods

A hybrid? Maybe.

But correct me if I'm wrong, this may require some team play, and I see no sign that Farage is a team player.

I am still inclined to suspect all he's in this for is to make some cash (membership fees for his business, sorry 'party'), and shits and giggles.

Doubt it. The Tories are the most successful party in history. Can't really see them morphing into a extreme right SDP. Part of that success is having patience in opposition. Reform will win votes but will never get their shit together. If they turn right there are seen as extreme if they turn left they are an inexperienced Tory party.

Ditch Badenoch and put someone like Cleverly in, I think a lot changes. There will be laughter from the Government bench but that's what parties do in opposition. f*** about until they find someone electable.
