It's a pointless discussion, the newspaper barons will decide who they want as the next Tory leader and they will then trash the opposition once again and extend the Conservatives tenure. In the meantime the rich get richer and the number food banks increase.

The population are led to believe we live in a democracy but in reality the masses are told by the media how to think and vote.

It's totally depressing.

Answered in haste, seeing only Tories. So voted for Tom Tugendhat.
I'd favour the equally unexciting but grownup, Starmer over any of that lot by a thousand miles, obvs

Sunak third contender to throw his hat in the ring, Fox keeping his cards very close to his chest.

It's a very low bar. It starts at anyone who isn't Boris Johnson.

Or Liz Truss, or someone else who isn't incompetent and embarrassing.

Actually, for the present government that is pretty high.

My crystal ball time line says:

1. Truss wins, because party members can’t handle the reality of higher taxes at this stage in the economic cycle.

2. A media honeymoon period where she’s labelled the new Maggie.

3. Soon unravelling, 2 plus years of chaos.

4. Starmer wins with no overall majority. Weeks of negotiations with Mary Doll Nesbitt, having to guarantee a referendum within 10 months.

Is there any way we can organise a petition to get Ruel Fox onto the ballot?

He's popular with the grass roots, could beat Starmer in a penalty shoot out, used to be good at running and has lots of experience of playing football, and crucially is a fundamentally better option than either of Truss or Sunak.

Blimey ! I had to check Google Images to make sure Crodo wasn’t winding us up….. Did her people really release that as a authorised picture? It makes her look, well… scary. With that smirk and glint in her eye you wouldn’t touch her with a barge pole….
