The conservatives only enemy is themselves. Labour are a joke, the liberals are finished as a political party and still the Tories manage to look totally inept. Paper spoiling is my only choice at the next election!

but I will say that I will be voting against all my political principles in the next election after listening to and meeting Stephen Lloyd he has stuck out for the people of Eastbourne particularly the hospital binfest a case of voting for the man and not the party.
mind you its hard not to miss the guy he is everywhere meeting people he has a very firm handshake and a good smile which is always a good start in my book

I agree with you; Labour will have to monumentally **** up the election campaign to not be voted in. But with the current bunch of clowns this is, of course, highly possible!

What will be interesting in 2015 is if the LibDem vote fragments and UKIP become the 3rd party with no seats.

true story. comical thing is that Balls policy is to do the same as Osborne, just different ammounts.
im not sure the Libdem vote can fragment, as they support that party through indifference or disaffection of both the others. they'll just abstain.

He has to last until the next election first, I can see that he might be replaced soon. Who really believes the next election is going to be as far away as 2015 anyway? 2014 I reckon with a slim Tory lead that will erode away.

The Conservatives couldn't manage an outright majority at the last election despite the Labour party having taken us into recession, being led by the most unpopular prime minister of the post war era and trailing by 7 points in the opinion polls. Given that they couldn't win outright in immensely favourable conditions, I think the Conservatives will have to do massively better in the next two years, or Labour foul up spectacularly with their election campaign, for the Conservatives to have any chance of an outright majority.
