As an Amex Rhodium cardholder, hopefully I'll get preference treatment and a space. Still waiting for benefits ffs, I paid a €4,999 fee to their Abuja HQ.

Given the current state of play with many Universities I believe the plan may change. Now it is different ownership Tony may buy it. Barber was on record as saying watch this space when asked last summer.I've heard it's on hold due to the university building more accomodation for 2000+ which will be cheaper to rent.
Both unis are broke due to lower enrolment numbers of undergrads and are releasing loads of staff.Given the current state of play with many Universities I believe the plan may change. Hotel and multistorey car park incoming then! Maybe....Given the current state of play with many Universities I believe the plan may change. Now it is different ownership Tony may buy it. Barber was on record as saying watch this space when asked last summer.
Why do you think that? The Bennett family realise they made a mistake?I believe they have realised they made a big mistake selling that land and hopefully it will change hands soon.
If they can build / afford the car park how about a couple of lifts/escalators at either end of the West Stand for supporters ? Looking at the age of a lot of the supporters on the West Stand Upper concourse at present I give it about a couple of seasons more and there will be a huge drop off of season ticket holders up there as we are all to old to get up the stairs ( me included !)The premium wide steps - round the way - are for AMEX card owners only ! Have you seen them ?
And what about the lift ? i think its a tenner a trip.
Was just trawling this thread to see if anyone had suggested this. Seems more than a coincidencejust need to add the tunnel out other side of this car park which will lead to new women's stadiumwhere the rugby pitch is ...
usage 50 times per year - so 19 PL games, say 12 cup games and other events - 19 women's team games to make the 50
i know nothing. just a guesstimate

There are pages in the planning devoted to different styling options. The car park looks like beeding cement works.
Sorry I meant the club, they made a mistake in not buying it from the Bennett’s initially although now there is planning permission for student flats it would be very difficult to turn down a future application for a hotel/offices for example. Why do you think that? Did the club have a chance to buy it? Was it for sale previously ?Sorry I meant the club, they made a mistake in not buying it from the Bennett’s initially although now there is planning permission for student flats it would be very difficult to turn down a future application for a hotel/offices for example.
I thought the club never had the chance to buy it or the Bennetts were holding out for a ridiculous sum of money, which maybe they finally got from the student housing company.Sorry I meant the club, they made a mistake in not buying it from the Bennett’s initially although now there is planning permission for student flats it would be very difficult to turn down a future application for a hotel/offices for example.

No idea on feasability of adding in that to an existing building (unlikely is my guess but i'm not an architect)If they can build / afford the car park how about a couple of lifts/escalators at either end of the West Stand for supporters ? For those who go to the away games do grounds such as Newcastle / Spurs / Arsenal have stairs only for the Upper Stands ?
