Heading for shore
is this news all for real? are we talking about Nathan spice boy new haircut ever week and new young slapper brighton night club on arm every week Jones?

Surely Oscar knows some better suited people.

I used to sit behind his barber at Withdean in the early seasons, who can also vouch for what a decent bloke Jones is. I'll trust Oscar's judgement over the seemingly jealous detractors on here.

The Anyinsah sending off was the SECOND game with Jonesygate at Huish Park - he DID get some shit from a few fans before that one

The original one was Yeovil scoring late on against us and Jones running into the goal celebrating giving it the big one right in front of us I seem to recall.

Correct - I was convinced Paul Samrah was going to explode with rage that day with Jones' antics. At the end of the day, he'd been getting booed for no reason and clearly decided to give a bit back when Yeovil grabbed a late equaliser.

That was the start of him being a wind up merchant to us - pretty certain he had some sort of run in with the North Stand on a return to Withdean, just after he'd come out in The Argus prior to the game and said how much he loved Brighton

Nathan Jones was always quite impressive. Too short for a full back though.

OK! maybe there's some good in there somewhere, but I will never forgive him for lording it up for Yeovil against us at Withdean. Totally uncalled for, disrespectful and unprofessional.
Perhaps he's come in as Gully's replacement after his departure.

Considering the hassle Hammond got on here last season and that what Jones did was probably far worse, it will be interesting to see how some will react to this.

I will react like this:

Booooooooooooooo + hand gesture implying he enjoys playing with himself.

And then I'll move on with my life.

Will we forgive him for his disgraceful exhibition in front of the Albion fans at Yeovil? Showed us no respect at all!

Think he still has a flat near Withdean and will provide the contact with the past now that Charlie has moved on.

Indeed the man is a disgrace, never forget his programme note
Q Are you happy at the Albion
A Only until a bigger club comes in for me

As Daltrey would say : Meet the new boss, same as the old boss....Won't get fooled again?

When he played for us with his double shuffle he was on the left side usually as winger - I know he dropped back to full back but not in his time at the Albion ..... On the other hand I could be wrong and age has be-fuddled my memory

As for Nathan, I can see the logic, but also remember his disrespectful behaviour. Forgive and forget for me, but an apology would be nice. Think Hammond kind of did that on his return, didn't he?

Hammond did an interview where he said he had grown up. It was almost an apology.

I was there at Yeovil, right behind the goal. Jones was given a decent reception, no booing that I can recall.

Jones was a knob, had no need to do what he did. It wasn't just a celebration, he was just being a knob.
